Sprouts Garden Camp
Parker Learning Gardens is excited to announce our first ever day camp, Sprouts Garden Camp! These week-long day camps are designed for Elementary-aged (5-11) kids who are excited to dig in the dirt and connect with nature! Each day we will be offering STEAM-based learning designed by local teacher and PLG Garden Club instructor, Miss Hope. Kids will delve deeper into where and how food grows, animals and animal habitats on the farm, composting and worms, and so much more. We will work on observation skills, nature journaling, mapping and navigation, developing our artistic selves, and embracing the spirit of adventure!
How Summer Camp Works:
Sprouts Garden Camp is offering two sessions for the Summer 2024 season.
Session One: July 22- July 25 Theme: Animals in the Garden.
Session Two: July 29-August 02 Theme: Where Food Comes From
Camps are located at Parker Learning Gardens (31239 Lanes Turn Road). Registration is $350 per child and campers will have a 1:7 instructor ratio. Drop off will be between 8:00am and 9:00am and Pick up is from 4:00pm and 5:00pm. Campers will need to bring a packed lunch, although we will provide a nutritious snack in the afternoon as well. At this time we are unable to offer discounted rates but hope to in future years.
Join us at the farm!
