Get Ready for Two Spook-tacular Halloween Events in the Bam-Boo Forest!

Are you ready for some hair-raising Halloween fun? We’ve got two amazing events lined up that will send chills down your spine—or give you a fun, family-friendly adventure. Whether you’re in for a night of screams or an afternoon of eerie education, our bamboo forest is the place to be this Halloween season!

1. The Haunted Bamboo Forest: Enter… If You Dare!

This year’s haunted attraction is like nothing you’ve seen before! Forget the corn mazes; we’ve cranked up the fear factor in our bamboo forest with The Haunted Bamboo Forest, featuring this year’s spine-tingling theme: “Human Farm.”

Dare to venture through the eerie paths and discover what lies in the shadows of this twisted, terrifying world. Every corner holds a new fright, and trust us, this is no ordinary haunted maze! With towering bamboo, creepy twists, and plenty of jump-scares, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

  • Dates: October 25-27th & Halloween Night
  • Time: 7 PM – 10 PM
  • Cost: $15 per person

Feeling brave? We’re looking for Scaremasters to join the spooky fun and help make this year’s Haunted Bamboo Forest the scariest yet! If you’ve got the talent to terrify, sign up, and let’s make this Halloween truly unforgettable!

2. Poisonous Plant Walk: Spooky Fun for the Whole Family!

Looking for a more laid-back, yet still eerie experience? Our Poisonous Plant Walk is perfect for families and those who love learning about the darker side of nature.

This self-guided tour takes you through our spooky bamboo forest where you’ll learn all about the creepy, poisonous, and mysterious plants that thrive in the shadows. But don’t worry—while the plants have a spooky reputation, there’s no danger involved!

It’s a fun and educational adventure that’s just spooky enough for the season but safe and enjoyable for kids and adults alike.

Get your costumes ready, gather your friends and family, and come explore our bamboo forest like never before! Whether you’re here to be scared or to learn, we’ve got something for everyone this Halloween.

Don’t miss out!

Discover what Parker Learning Gardens is all about while pressing your own apples and shelling your own popcorn, all within our spacious 100 foot hoop-house. We will be presenting our up-and-coming educational programs, on-site classes and volunteer opportunities. Learn about our unique gardens, 3 acre bamboo forest, fruit orchard and biochar kiln; and see what fun our future classes on crafting with bamboo, willow, gourds and broom corn entail.

We have created a crowdfunding/grant campaign through Seedmoney.org that gives us the opportunity to earn up to $1000 in grant funds. The fundraising campaign runs from Nov. 15th to Dec. 15th. The more we raise through donations during this period, the better our chances are of receiving additional grant money on top of the donations we receive. Please join us and consider helping build this unique and incredible educational resource for the community.
